This page explains the cookies Innovate Northeast uses, what each one does, and how to control them. It works alongside our privacy policy.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device when you visit. It lets the site remember things between page loads and return visits, such as the choice you made about cookies or how you arrived at the site. Cookies cannot run programs or carry viruses, and the ones we use do not read other files on your device. Some are set by us, and some are set by the third parties whose services we use.
We group cookies into three categories. Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them. The other two are optional and only set if you allow them.
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Typical lifespan | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keep the site working: remembering your cookie choice, load balancing, and basic security. | consent state, session | Session to 12 months | Always on |
| Analytics / performance | Measure aggregate traffic and page performance so we can improve the guides. Statistical, not used to identify you. | visit counts, page paths | Up to 24 months | Optional |
| Affiliate tracking | Attribute a sign-up to us when you click through to an operator, so the network can credit a commission. | click reference, referral source | Up to 30 days | Optional |
Some cookies are placed by services we rely on rather than by us directly. Our analytics provider sets cookies to compile aggregate traffic statistics, and affiliate networks set a tracking cookie when you click through to an operator so a sign-up can be credited to us. When you follow a link to a casino, that operator and its own partners may set further cookies on their site, governed by their cookie and privacy policies, not ours.
When you first visit, you can accept or decline the optional analytics and affiliate-tracking cookies. Essential cookies do not need consent because the site cannot function without them. You can change your choice at any time, and you can also manage cookies directly in your browser.
Blocking all cookies, including essential ones, can stop parts of the site working as intended. Blocking only the optional categories will not break the site, though it does limit the usage data we can use to improve it.
We may update this cookie policy as the site or the services we use change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page. We recommend checking back occasionally so you know what is stored on your device.
